MOSAIC is the creative practice of Michael Lapp, a motion designer and art director from Philadelphia, PA.

Since 2010, I’ve worked with everyone from startups to some of the world’s biggest brands. My work brings together motion graphics, 2D animation, and visual storytelling to make complex ideas easier to understand and more interesting to watch. I work with brands, agencies, and creative teams on everything from explainer videos and product launches to animated identities and brand campaigns. I like getting involved early, asking questions, and finding the detail that makes a project feel like itself. Sometimes that means simplifying a complicated story. Sometimes it means giving a good idea a little room to get weird.

I’m as interested in the big picture as I am in the three frames nobody else will notice.
